CeruShield Disk filters Phonak Marvel

Phonak has developed a new system with the CeruShield Disk, which is even better and easier to use for protection against earwax (cerumen). This product is suitable for the Phonak Marvel and separately also for the speakers of the Unitron Discover series.

The CeruShield (disk) contains the following:

• 8 new filters for your hearing aid.
• 8 empty spaces, in which you place the old filters from your hearing aid.

Replacing filters with the CeruShield Disk in 5 steps

1. Turn the top of the disk 1 turn to the right. The new filter at number 2 becomes visible.
2. Pull the dome off the hearing aid with your thumb and index finger.
3. Insert the hearing aid with the old filter on it into the circle with number 1 and pull it back.
4. The old filter has now been removed. Repeat the same process at number 2. This will install the new filter.
5. Place the dome back and the device is ready for use again!

Why replace hearing aid filters?

Replacing the filter of a hearing aid on time is very important. This extends the lifespan of the Phonak Marvel hearing aid. Too much earwax can cause damage or blockage. Replacing the filters is simple and inexpensive, so you ultimately get a lot more return from the device.

How often should the filters be replaced?

This differs per person. One person simply produces earwax faster than another. Some people replace the filters almost daily or at least several times a week, while others only do this a few times a month. Check the filters regularly for earwax and use this to determine approximately how often you need to replace these filters.
