What are Oticon MiniFit Domes?

The Oticon Minifit Domes are small pre-formed rubber caps that are placed on the speaker or the thin tube of the hearing aid. These caps are the alternative to a custom-made earpiece. The rubber caps are used with a hearing aid as a fitting piece for the ear. They are available in different sizes and designs, but are not reusable. The advantage of these earmolds is that the hearing aid fits better in the ear and therefore stays in place. This also applies to the Oticon MiniFit Domes 8 mm.

How do you replace Oticon MiniFit Domes 8mm?

The Dome must not be cleaned. If you need a new, clean Dome, remove the old one and install a new one. We recommend replacing the Dome once a month, or as directed by your hearing care professional.

To replace the Oticon MiniFit Domes 8 mm, follow the steps below:

• Hold the speaker or thin tube and pull off the earpiece.
• Place the speaker or thin tube in the center of the earpiece.
• Press the earmold firmly to ensure it is securely attached.
